Friendster.com Sold for $100 Million in an Asian Buyer
December 9th, 2009Friendster’s sold for $100 Million according to Reuters. The buyer was not publicly named, but definitely a well-known Asian firm. Well, owners of Friendster made a wise move since Facebook is becoming the popular Social Networking today.
Friendster was tagged as the number one Social Networking site way back. It has millions of users around the world especially in Asia. The buyer of Friendster is from Asia so he probably knows where the market is.
Last week, Friendster changed it’s logo, website and added more features like Facebook.
