There is a trending post on Twitter regarding Blackberry Outage December 22. Twitter stream is heating up about the issue the other day. Anyway, what’s really going on Blackberry outage last December 22?

All across the internet the outage has led to frustrated BlackBerry users, none of which are happy with the outage during paid service time. Don’t expect a refund for the missed usage time on December 22 either BlackBerry users, because the company isn’t required to give them. This is the second time in December that a significant outage has affected BlackBerry customers, and this could start driving subscribers to switching services. BlackBerry did release an e-mail to customers that is as follows:

“BlackBerry subscribers may be unable to send or receive messages. Subscribers may also be unable to register their device, roam in another location, or use other services such as Internet browsing. BlackBerry Internet Service subscribers may be unable to use the BlackBerry Internet Service web site or perform activities such as creating new accounts, integrating third-party email accounts, or viewing email attachments.”


There are actually rumors spreading out there that have caused the December 22 BlackBerry outage. These include overuse during the holiday season, travel situation on the East Coast and too many users on the system at the same time. However, neither of the reasons are good ones that is accepted by BlackBerry users, but it’s also safe to say that no BlackBerry user will be happy that there was an outage in the first place.
