PLDT DSL Getting Worst?

A lot of PLDT DSL Subscribers are complaining of the slow services that the company offers. That includes our subscription. It’s been 5 days and the intermittent connection of our PLDT DSL wasn’t able to repair. Just only today since Saturday huh! We are complaining of the connection (not actually intermittent connection). We’ve been calling the PLDT 173 Hotline several times and they would promise to send the feedback as soon as the technical department receive the complaint.

Sunday, PLDT technicians came to fix the problem and no one’s available except the housekeepers. They left the house and said it’s fixed already. Sunday night, Monday until this afternoon (Wednesday) the connection still failed and no technicians came. I called the the Hotline again to report the problem.

We decided to call the main branch near the area and we called first the PLDT 187 to know the number. We are asking the direct number of their office in our area and to our surprised, the operator said they don’t know the number. I insisted why the hell they don’t know the number since they are in the same company!

As of this writing, our connection is getting better, but we are now thinking to stop our subscription with PLDT.

I have pldt mydsl 999. For 5 days I’ve been getting around 7 kb/s while downloading. Ok na ngayon – 122 kb/s. Pero for how long? Tapos if you ask for rebate they will say – When the problem is resolved you will get a rebate. Eh paano yan, On Going ang problem? Also yung speedtest.net? Mag toss ka na lan ng picha sa Chinese temple. Mas accurate pa yun Hula nila.

Still , the problem always arises when it comes to our Internet activity which is very annoying to the users. At the middle of our internet work the signal suddenly halted and it took a lot of time in coming back the signal. Please address this problem because these are always been the complaint with in our community.

We are looking forward to materializing this matter.

Thanks for this feedback. I thought of transferring from Bayantel to PLDT. Now I know better.
