Googe began testing Allowed Sites Feature way back June 2007 and they launched it a month after on August 2007 based on popular request by Google Publishers. This feature helps the publishers to protect their account from unauthorized use.
How can i use Google Adsense Allowed Sites Feature?
This is actually very simple. Just log-in to your Google Adsense Account and click “Adsense Set-up” tab, then click “Allowed Sites” tab below it.
You will be given two options :
- 1. Allow any site to show ads for my account
2. Only allow certain sites to show ads for my account
Click the second button if you prefer showing ads to sites you allow. Then in the field provided below, just type the sites or URL you want to show your ads. Save your settings.
Some Publishers still do not have any idea regarding this feature, so it’s time to use and protect your Google Adsense ID from spammers and hackers.
