Intel Acquire McAfee for $7.68 Billion

Intel has acquired the popular anti-virus software company McAfee for $7.68 Billion or or $48 per share.

Intel says the “acquisition enables a combination of security software and hardware from one company to ultimately better protect consumers, corporations and governments as billions of devices – and the server and cloud networks that manage them – go online.”

Intel Corp.’s aquisition of McAfee Inc. may help Chief Executive Officer Paul Otellini, seen here, in his drive to expand beyond PCs by breaking into mobile handsets and landing more chips in other mobile devices.

The acquisition was announced by the world’s largest chipmaker Intel, Corporation yesterday.

Wonder how to select all your Facebook friends to your newly created Facebook page? The direction is actually very simple. I found out in my research that you can invite all your friends in just one click. Here’s how.

First log-in to your Facebook account and go to your Facebook Fan Page and click Suggest to Friends.

After loading, copy and paste the javascript below into your web browser then press enter.

How to Chat on Facebook

Facebook chat is not a new application on Facebook, but an old Facebook feature which requires Facebook account. When you sign in to your account, you are also automatically logged in to Facebook Chat interface.

To access Facebook chat, just scroll down the right side bottom of your Facebook page. You have the option to be visible or not to your friends. Facebook chat is the answer to Instant Messaging (IM).

A green dot next to someone’s name means that he is currently online and you can start a chat with him. A moon means that he hasn’t been online for at least 10 minutes.

To chat, just click on the name of someone who has a green dot next to their name. A chat box will pop up. Just type your message into the box, hit enter, and you’ve started a chat. Enjoy!
