Apple Inc. sued it’s strongest competitor Samsung Electronics for copying iPhone and iPad. In a report by Reuters, Apple claims that Samsung Galaxy Tab and other Samsung Galaxy mobile phones focus on design features, such as the look of its screen icons.

According to the lawsuit, Samsung Galaxy products use Google Inc’s Android operating system, which directly competes with Apple’s mobile software.

“This kind of blatant copying is wrong,” Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet said in a statement.

The lawsuit, filed on Friday, alleges Samsung violated Apple’s patents and trademarks.
