Intel has acquired the popular anti-virus software company McAfee for $7.68 Billion or or $48 per share.
Intel says the “acquisition enables a combination of security software and hardware from one company to ultimately better protect consumers, corporations and governments as billions of devices – and the server and cloud networks that manage them – go online.”
Intel Corp.’s aquisition of McAfee Inc. may help Chief Executive Officer Paul Otellini, seen here, in his drive to expand beyond PCs by breaking into mobile handsets and landing more chips in other mobile devices.

The retail price of WePad is about $611 for the basic model (office furniture) and if you plan to upgrade to 32GB with 3G and GPS, the price is $774.
Scosche maker of accessories for consumer electronics is pinning high hopes on the newest Apple gadget, the iPad, due to be released in the coming weeks. They also made a mint selling products that complement iPhone and its iPod music player.
By April or May 2010 Scosche will release its first iPad accessory called KickBACK, a stand that lets users position the tablet vertically or horizontally for easy video and photo viewing. Scosche plans to roll out “at least a dozen” iPad accessories this year, Alves says. They may include a charger, an in-car dashboard mount, and a home audio dock that would double as speakers.
Aside from accessory manufacturers, Apple also makes many accessories, including chargers, keyboard docks, and carrying cases. Watch out for that!

Tips to Increase the Speed of Macintosh Computer. To speed up both startup time for your Mac and overall performance you need to ;
1. Rebuild your desktop at least once a month. To do this, just hold down the Command and Option keys when you restart your computer. Then leave the keys pressed until your computer tells if you want to rebuild the desktop. Click OK.
2. Try to remove the fonts that you never use. To do this, open the Fonts folder in the System Folder and drag the fonts out. Simple.
3. Next is open the Extensions Manager control panel and turn off the system extensions that you don’t need.
4. Purchase and install speed-increasing software, such as SoftwareFPU from John Neil & Associates, Speed Doubler from Connectix, and Norton Utilities from Symantec.
5. Add RAM if your computer takes long to open programs and slows down when working with multiple programs or large files.
Note : If you experience problems after turning off the extensions, try to switch on and off at a time. Restart your computer and check if the problem still occur. If not, try to repeat the process again.
Do not try to place you Mac Computer on top of the tv stand, if won’t work lols! Just to make you laugh!
