How To Put Meta Tags in Your Blog
A meta description tag is supposed to be a brief and concise summary of your page’s content. A meta keyword tag is supposed to be a summary list of the most important words on your page. Though meta keyword tags or meta description tags are not the main factor the search engines consider when ranking your site. However, they should not be left off in your site.
Simple steps on how to put meta tags in your blog. Just follow.
1. To put in your new meta tags, go to Presentation / Theme Editor and then click on the
header.php theme file.
2. In your Header theme file, you’ll want to add meta “description” and “keywords” for your site.
3. Here’s the code you’ll want to include inside the header area:

4. And place it under this code
That’s it! Very simple.
