The American Idol Top 10 is now trimmed to 9. The one-name contestant of American Idol Season 7 Chikezie is finally out of the contest. Chikezie, 22, of Inglewood, California, injected the singing contest with enthusiasm and soul. His performances could be risky and kinetic, as when he sang the Beatles’ “She’s A Woman,” or safe and retro, as seen in his earlier rendition of “More Today than Yesterday.”
The bottom three Jason, Chikezie and Syesha gathered on stage to find out their fates, and Jason promptly finds out he is safe. After a break it’s finally revealed that Syesha is safe, and Chikezie is going home.
I thought Chikezie is one of the best singer in this season. He is one of my favorite singers of American Idol Season 7. Too bad he’s out.
Yesterday’s performance of Ramiele Malubay was not so good yet not so bad. Her own rendition of Alone didn’t turn out well as expected by followers. It was learned that she was sick at the time she performed on stage. The overall performance wasn’t bad at all. She sings good and still pretty.
I don’t know why good singers are being eliminated in this season. Do you mean David Cook and David Archuleta are the next candidates?

I definitely don’t agree with this result. Chekezie has a good recording star potential with his unique vocal style and quality. But I believe that with or without the American Idol crown, he would still make it in the music world.
